COMPANY INFORMATION

The roots of WISE Group date back some twenty plus years when Founder and President John Hickey began pursuing his passion for audio, video, and lighting technology. As with most pursuits of personal passion, the beginnings are quite humble. However, through his persistence and a driving will to succeed, those humble beginnings have evolved into a uniquely formidable company that continues to thrive and grow in the various markets in which it participates.

WISE Group is quite unique in that it is comprised of two main divisions - Integration and Production.,Each division is comprised of numerous professionals who possess specific skill sets and industry specific experience. The cross pollination of knowledge and experience among our staff members offers clients maximum service benefit and long term value.

Our Integration division offers comprehensive design and installation of the latest audio, video, lighting, mobile staging, and acoustical treatment products. We've completed projects of all types and sizes throughout the mid-west. We even offer extensive training, service, and ongoing support. 

 The Production division provides sound, video, lighting, and staging for virtually any type of live event. Services can be provided nationwide at venues such as stadiums, arenas, theaters, churches, exhibition halls, fairgrounds, race tracks, and night clubs.

The History of Our Company

1999 - Principals John Hickey and George Pfenenger form a company designed to capitalize on emerging trends in computer based audio and video technologies. In less than one year the company achieves success in providing solutions for prominent International clients such as the Stars On Ice Tour and Illusionist David Copperfield. 

2000 - The company continues to offer additional products and services based around emerging technologies such as digital signal processors and software based audio and video control systems. A variety of computer based audio and video technology solutions are provided for a multitude of radio stations, touring production companies, and Broadway (New York) theaters. The need for a retail outlet is recognized and planning begins. 

2001 - The company opens a retail outlet offering numerous professional audio, video, lighting, and acoustical treatment products. A design and installation department is developed to provide integrated system solutions for various market sectors such as retail outlets, houses of worship, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and institutional facilities. The need for comprehensive recording services is recognized as the company designs and builds a computer based recording studio facility. 

2002 - The company draws upon its history of event production services and continues to invest in additional personnel and equipment designed to provide higher levels of sound, lighting, video, and staging services to corporate clients and national touring artists. In addition, the company develops an entertainment division designed to assist corporate, fair, and festival clients with booking of established national touring artists.

2003 - Yearly revenues double as the company experiences significant growth in all four divisions.

2004 - The company expands it's installation division into border states (Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Tennessee). Additional retail, office, and warehouse space is required resulting in a search for new space. 

2005 - The company's production services division experiences  tremendous growth and requires additional equipment and personnel. A new location is acquired which offers needed additional space. The company consolidates all four divisions into one conglomeration by announcing a name change to WISE Group. A marketing campaign is implemented to support the new company identity.
